July 2 - July 22, 2024
Current (23-2024) grade 9-12 students who are residents of Alberta can take the following courses online from anywhere as long as they have an internet connection. Students may take 1 or 2 of the following courses:
Career and Life Management - CALM
Phys Ed 10, 20, and 30
Religious Studies 15, 25, and 35
Attendance Requirements
Students will be expected to submit work weekly and will need to have at least 50% of the course completed by July 15th, 2024 or they will be withdrawn from the respective course.
A teacher is available for all courses for virtual support from 9am to 1:30pm. This can include Zoom meetings, emails or phone conversations.

CALM
There are 8 assignments as well as a final exam and all are to be completed by July 22.
Religious Studies
The number of assignments varies depending on whether the student wants to complete the 3 or 5 credit course. Students must complete a mandatory 7.5 hours of volunteer service for either the 3 or 5 credit course. There is a form that needs to be completed by the person or organization where the volunteering occurred. Please have a supervisor sign this form confirming the hours completed before submitting it.
You are strongly encouraged to make arrangements, and even to complete your service hours, before summer school begins! This course is 15 days which is a tight timeline to complete your hours.

Phys Ed
There are approximately 10 assignments that need to be completed as well as an activity log that needs to be recorded. Students must complete 32 hours of activity for a 3-credit course and 64 hours of activity for a 5-credit course. Students must also complete a 2-hour leadership activity of their choice.

- Registering with our school district. You will need a copy of the original birth certificate and any other pertinent legal documentation, such as custody or guardianship orders, MUST accompany registration. This can easily be done by taking a picture of the documentation and uploading it into the program.
