Due to the recent changes in the Alberta Education Distance Education Funding guidelines and dual-credit delivery expectations; no MOU is required with each of the school division since the dual-credit courses are delivered through the SOH as a distance education course.
ECACS and Lakeland College have an historical MOU that aligns to Alberta Education dual-credit course delivery requirements. School administration or program coordinators are expected to assist students in the completion of the online registration form.

If students elect to directly enroll in a Lakeland College course they will be charge the same enrollment fees that any college student would be charged to register for a course.
Question - How are courses delivered?
Classes will be delivered both synchronously and asynchronously. All classes will be recorded and posted daily. Students can choose to attend the live classes Mon-Thurs OR listen to the recordings on their own time.Deadlines will be in place for all.

*Note*
High-speed or broadband hardwired connections are necessary (wireless connections will result in a choppy video picture for yourself and the instructor and slow page loading due to the high amount of videos per module). These courses also contain videos that require either Firefox or Chrome to run best; one of these will need to be downloaded if you do not already have them.
You will also need an adequate Webcam; you can use either an external webcam or a built-in one if your computer comes with it – External is generally a better option; Logitech and Microsoft HD webcams are a good recommendation.
